OUR WORSHIP

OUR WORSHIP

We Follow the Word of God.

Perhaps you’re wondering what you can expect to see if you visit one of our worship services. Because of our dedication to Jesus, we want to worship in the way that disciples of the first century worshiped. The New Testament shows us what the apostles of Jesus taught the early Christians to do in order to serve Him properly (1 Cor 4:17).

If you visit us on any Sunday, you’ll see that we sing praises and pray to God, and we partake of the Lord’s Supper to commemorate the death of Jesus. We listen to Biblical sermons and receive instruction from God’s word. A voluntary collection of funds is taken up each Sunday to carry on the work of the congregation, but this is solely from our members; visitors are not asked to give. We also assemble on Wednesday evenings to engage in further Bible study. In all of our classes, everyone is encouraged to ask questions, to make comments, and to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).

Worshiping God together in these ways encourages all of us. It fills us with spiritual strength and motivates us to live for Jesus throughout the week. If you visit one of our services, we will do our best to make you feel welcome. No one will make you feel uncomfortable or embarrass you in any way. We hope you can join us at your next opportunity.
